There's an old saying about Cherrydale Hardware in Arlington -- "If they don't have it, you probably didn't need it. Honestly, the best hardware I know of, large or small. Great staff of pros who know their stuff. Lots of organic, from high quality potting soil to fertilizer.

I go out of my way to shop here. They have every kind of nut, bolt, screw, tool, supply you can think of - all for a good price. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and help me find what I’m looking for quickly every time. Far superior experience to big box stores.

This hardware store had a lot but everything was super organized and easy to find. I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and they even let us borrow a tape measure tool in order to make sure we were getting the correct product. Now our plant looks like this and we could not be happier. Thanks so much Cherrydale Hardware Inc. We will be back again for our next hardware and garden needs.

I’d take this store over a big box hardware store every single time. Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Needed a couple things to complete a job and went here to get them. 10 out of 10.

I called in to check if they had machine screws that might fit some I had lost for a computer monitor stand. They confirmed they had many types of machine screws so I came in and one of the people working there was exceedingly helpful to help me find the right screws in no time. A million times better than Home Depot.. I will now go here for all of my hardware needs going forward!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me with my condo projects (painting, wallpaper, wood sealing) and only sold me what I needed. There is a garden section on the back that has super cute tools for a small apt like the watering can on pic. They also sell large garden tools and indoor organic soil.

They have a really great selection despite not being a huge store. I’ve gone there for some pretty niche items and always found what I need. I pretty much only need to find a L*wes or H*me D*pot (I feel like I should say rivals in a review haha) for appliances or really large products which makes the m the perfect place since I rarely need that!

This hardware shop is a gem! We just moved into the area yesterday and it was an easy bike ride for us up from Arlington Forest. They had a lot of the little oddities that you needed in an old house, which can be harder to find at the big box hardware stores. We also picked up a shower tension rod & super quick key copying as well (and accurate! They come guaranteed but both fit when I made it home). David was super helpful to me and my three year-old daughter and we will definitely be back again for our hardware and other novelty needs!
